Jeff Martin Exhibition – Back of House

Back of House – Melbourne

was the genesis of the Back of House series. Jeff is a veteran of Melbourne’s hospitality industry so access was not an issue. The series headlined fifteen of Melbourne’s restaurant institutions including Vue de Monde, Jacques Reymond, the Flower Drum, Da Noi and Bacash. With the exhibition officially listed as an event of the 2008 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival the exposure to lovers of food and art was a perfect marriage.

Following both highly successful Back of House exhibitions in Melbourne and Sydney, portraying 30 kitchens of Australia’s finest restaurants, Jeff embarked on Back of House – World. He has been granted privileged access to the kitchens of world-renowned restaurants such as Noma in Copenhagen and Per Se in New York.

This will be the first time all 46 works will be shown together.
