Putting the art into the exhibition

The Colour Factory has recently produced artist prints for Ilana Payes. With a growing reputation, Ilana has a Masters degree in Visual Art and a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) from Monash University.

Shane and Phil assisted with the production of a number of large format 700mm x 1200mm Pigment Gilclee prints on Breathing Colour -Acid free Chromata White Matt Canvas.

Our scanning and retouching skills were put to the test ensuring Ilana’s work was reproduced in large format at high quality.

We think Ilana appreciated the efforts telling us “Thanks again for everything, you guys make miracles happen!”

Ilana’s stunning images were seen as part of The Opposite of Forgetting – an exhibition of memory and identity at the Helen Gory Gallery, 25 St. Edmonds Road, Prahran.

The exhibition was produced by Next UIA and curated by Leah Crossman.

By all reports the event, which was open to the public earlier this month (Tuesday 31 March – Monday 6 April), was a great success. In case you missed it, check out these images below of the works.

Premium art reproduction for fine artists is just one of the Colour Factory’s many services.
