Glossary #1: Face mounting

Acrylic Face mounting is the  process of mounting a photographic C-Type print

to the back of 3mm or 6mm optical grade acrylic.

The acrylic is then backed with a Dibond and an aluminium hanging system is attached for support.

 

Face mounting is utilised for exhibition quality display that allows for a contemporary frame less

display option.  The technique also offers up to 98% UV protection for your prints.

 

Face mounted photographs have a vibrance and gloss which is unparalleled.
