The Maps of Arnhem

Since 1996, these maps of Arnhem Land and the Northern Territory gulf country have been created in collaboration with Traditional Owners as a vital cultural preservation project. Each artwork serves as a living document of songlines and connection to country, representing Indigenous knowledge that has been passed down through countless generations. The Cultural Mapping project continues today as an ongoing commitment to preserving and honoring these traditional stories and relationships to land. All proceeds from print sales directly support field trips with Traditional Owners to document oral histories and strengthen cultural continuity.
