Fred Colla –

Born in Melbourne 1956. Graduated Batchelor of Fine Arts  Chisholm Institute of Technology, now Monash  University in 1978

Fred focuses his eye on  images of industry and  human commerce. With assortments of symbols such as skyscrapers, bridges, cranes, signage etc, there is lots of material to work with.

“In recent years I have endeavoured to express what it feels like to be IN the city rather than looking at it. Contrasting unexpected views of parts of buildings with long, distant vistas,old buildings with new and a sense of night and day all in the one painting. ”

Limited editions are available as canvas reproductions and editions on cotton rag paper.
