Andy Brown

Using combinations of reflections, refraction and movement, all captured in camera, Andy Brown explores the artistry inherent in tidal rockpools, estuaries and birds on the wing.

Andy Brown has worked predominantly as a nature and wilderness photographer for State, National and Regional tourism agencies in Australia and Asia-Pacific. He has been represented in numerous publications including his own book Sapphire, featuring his home patch, the Sapphire Coast of NSW. After years of showcasing beautiful vistas and familiar scenes, Andy is now devoting his skills to a much more intimate portrayal of the pulse of nature. It is impressionistic, at times whimsical, sometimes cryptic but always compelling. Good photographers have a “good” eye. Andy’s eye is good and transports you to an other world.
