Using a LVT film recorder the pinnacle in large formal film technology

This service is for people requiring a handmade print from the darkroom and you need to fix a damaged original or want to create something from a digital file by hand.

We can write colour and black & white negatives up to 9 1/2” x 7 1/2” (241mm x 190mm) up to 3048 pixels per inch (120 pixels per millimetre)

We use 10” x 8” Kodak T Max 100 black & white film and Kodak 160 Portra NC

The device uses solid state light modulators to vary the intensity of light that exposes the film pixel by pixel

The artwork a combination of photography and creative digital was written to 10” x 8” film using a LVT film recorder then printed chromogenically in 3 panels mounted to Aluminium composite panel and exhibited at Scott Livesey Galleries 30cm above the floor. Film, printing, mounting & platform made at Colour Factory.
