Klaus Major

Klaus Major is a widely-exhibited Sydney based photographer, primarily using analogue (film) mediums.  His art practice encompasses a range from large format fine art photography to raw pinhole imagery.

The black and white, and colour pinhole photographs, to be exhibited at the Colour Factory, provide a rich exploration of the possibilities of this medium.

Pinhole photography allows the viewer to swim in a twilight world between reality and imagination.  Pinhole photos have a primitive elemental quality, as if to explore visual sensation at its source.
