Calling Artists for Conduit Arts Residency

Conduit Arts is hosting another Commune, Construct, Convey and looking for up to four artists to take part. This 4 week artists program involving 3 weeks of experimentation followed by a 4 day public unveiling of developments.

Over the month the artists use Conduit Arts space as their studio, either working together or separately but always communally. The residency gives the artists a unique opportunity to combine creating and showing within the same space and allows the audience to witness the process of art making.

At the end of the month an opening and four day public viewing is held with the artists’ progress and developments unveiled to the public and their peers.

Commune, Construct, Convey will run from Monday August 6th to September 2nd with the unveiling on Wednesday the 29th followed by the four days of public access to the space and works.

The fee is $550 for the month long program and includes access to the space from 10am till 11pm daily, the opening event and the 4 days of public access to the space with no responsibility to sit.

The program is open to artist collectives, collaborations and individuals with a maximum of four artists chosen for each residency. For expressions of interest in this program please contact Marie at conduitarts@gmail.com with your details, website (if applicable) and CV.
